Simple by design

From "maybe Cabo" to a clear plan in minutes.

Maruva is designed to reduce the uncertainty that usually comes with booking a private yacht in another country.

1

Tell us what the day should feel like

Share your date, group size, occasion, budget, and a few preferences. It takes about a minute.

2

Compare three thoughtful options

Instead of scrolling through dozens of listings, see three experiences built around your priorities.

3

Confirm the exact vessel before paying

We verify live availability, name the vessel, and send you the operator's documentation — captain's license and passenger insurance included. You pay only once everything is clear.

Confidence before checkout

Know exactly who is taking you out — before you send money abroad.

Booking a boat in another country usually means trusting a photo and a bank transfer. We do it the other way around: you get the vessel name, the operator's details, and their documentation before you pay.

Every operator is verified

We check the vessel registration, the Port Captain permit for that specific vessel, a current insurance policy covering passengers, crew and third parties, and the license of the captain who will run your day. No exceptions.

We've seen the boat ourselves

Before any vessel is offered, someone from Maruva inspects it on a live video call. If we haven't seen it, we don't sell it.

Exact-vessel confirmation

You get the vessel name and details before payment. What you book is what meets you at the dock.

One price, in one place

Charter price, extras, taxes, marina fees and cancellation terms — all shown together before you pay. No surprises at the marina.

A more familiar booking experience

Less uncertainty. Fewer scattered messages.

The experience is designed around the questions travelers from the U.S. and Canada typically want answered before booking internationally.

The usual process

  • Message several operators one by one
  • Compare quotes with different inclusions
  • Send money before every detail feels clear
  • Coordinate transportation and extras separately

The Maruva approach

  • Start with your occasion and priorities
  • Review three comparable options
  • Confirm the exact vessel and final terms
  • Coordinate the full day in one place

Straight answers

Before you choose your yacht.

The details that matter before you pay: the boat, operator documents, pricing, payment, weather, and who is responsible for your day.

How do I know the boat is real?

Before we offer any vessel, we verify its registration, the Port Captain permit issued for that specific boat, a current insurance policy covering passengers and crew, and the captain's license. We also inspect the boat on a live video call. We're happy to send you all of it before you pay.

Are the images on this page the actual boats?

The images on this page are representative planning concepts. When we send your three options, you get photos and details of the specific vessels available for your date.

When and how do I pay?

Once you've chosen your option and we've confirmed the vessel, we send a secure payment link. We never ask for card details over chat or email.

What if weather affects the trip?

Safety is always the captain's call. If the port closes or conditions are unsafe, we reschedule to another date during your stay at no extra cost. The full weather and cancellation terms are sent to you before payment.

What's included in the price?

Each option lists its inclusions. Prices are per group and include taxes and marina fees. Crew gratuity is not included.

Who actually operates the boat?

Independent, licensed operators based in Los Cabos. Maruva selects and verifies them, coordinates your entire day, and is your single point of contact from first message to drop-off.
